White Crow Hops In Action
WCH Pelletizing Process
When the hops are harvested, they are placed on drying screens and put in the barn. They are out of the sunlight with fans blowing air through the screens. The hops are dried to 10% moisture then taken to be pelletized. The hops are milled to a fine powder where 90% of the cone material is pulverized and pushed through the pelletizer to produce the pellets. The pellets are then packaged in vacuum sealed bags and stored in a refrigerator.

Absolutely Gorgeous Weekend
Huge thank you to @bosquebrewingco @bathtubrowbrewing @beercreekbrewingco and @cloudcroftbrewing for not only purchasing our hops, but coming and helping us harvest! Absolutely gorgeous weekend filled with delicious beer.
Quick look back at the harvesting process!
Before this, the hops were cut down from the high wire and the coconut string was then tied and fed into to the Hopster 5P. A series of pickers and vacuum belts then separated the hops from the vines and leaves, and were then transported to the sorting table for further separation by hand. Very cool!
